Product ManagementProduct management is one of the most important aspects of any e-Commerce site and an area in which ProspectSoft e-Commerce comes into its own.

Basic Product Management

ProspectSoft e-Commerce allows you to hold an unlimited number of different products within the system together with the product code, name, description, extended description, images and price. Importantly all of this information can be taken directly from your current accounting system removing the need to update information in multiple locations. Alternatively product information can be taken from a legacy product database.

Grouping

Product grouping is vitally important for customers to find what they are looking for quickly and easily. While many solutions allow you to create product groups, ProspectSoft CMS takes this a step further.

ProspectSoft e-Commerce allows you to place products into multiple groups for example a website selling security systems sell a product 'key Pad X2000' and this is in the Key pad section. Importantly this product also needs to appear in the sections; Secure Entrance Systems, Domestic Alarms, Commercial Alarms and the Special Offers sections.

ProspectSoft CMS places online product pricing back in the hands of your sales team - rather than your technical department. Importantly Prospectsoft allows you to manage:

Product Images and Diagrams

Product imagery and diagrams are a key selling tool online and the majority of customers are unlikely to buy without at least some kind of product image. ProspectSoft CMS allows you to store multiple product images for each product meaning you can display them in differing sizes, allowing shoppers to zoom in and view the image or diagram in more detail.

ProspectSoft e-Commerce also allows you to utilise 'Hotspots' on images and diagrams. Hotspots allow you to link specific products to points on a picture or diagram. This is particularly useful when selling components or parts of larger products.
